This year's theme is Capture. Focus. Embrace: The State of Higher Education. The theme was developed around the idea of being present and having an awareness for what is currently happening in the field of higher education. With media becoming such a large presence in the field, there is opportunity to harness and utilize technology to get information out and connect with students in new ways, yet we need to allow ourselves to be present and focused in our interactions and tasks.
