Graduate Case Study

Picture
Those participating in the 2016 MCPA Graduate Case Study Competition are asked to review and respond to a higher education case scenario.  Participants then present their ideas for action to three judges who will select the winners.  Prizes will be awarded to teams placing in first and second place.

Competition Guidelines:
  • Participants must be currently enrolled in a master's graduate program at the time of the conference.
  • Participants will be randomly assigned to teams of two.
  • The case study example will be given to participants at check-in on Thursday, November 3.
  • Participants must be present at the 2016 MCPA Conference on both November 3 and 4 in order to present their prepared ideas.
  • Presentations should include a brief analysis of the case, relevant literature or student development theories applicable to the case study, application of theories, and possible solutions (short and long term).
  • Winners will be announced during the Closing Ceremony at the 2016 MCPA Conference on Friday, November 4
